Why Volunteer?

Strong, safe communities are built on the compassion and care of our neighbors. No one is in more need of community support than victims of domestic violence and their children, who have often been isolated and terrorized in their own homes.

Volunteering with Baraga County Shelter Home has a major impact on the lives of countless families. It is an incredibly personal way to share in the mission of ending violence in the home, and a rewarding way to give back to the community as a whole.
